Essential Qualifications (Post-wise):
Rifleman General Duty (Male & Female): 10th class pass from a recognised board. Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test not applicable. Age limit: 18–23 years.
Warrant Officer Cipher (Male only): 12th standard pass or equivalent from a recognised board/institution AND two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in Radio and Television or Electronics from a recognised institute; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Information Technology. Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test will be assessed by the Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test Board. Age limit: 18–25 years.
Havildar Clerk (Male & Female): Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognised board/university or equivalent. Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test: English typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer OR Hindi typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer (time allowed: 10 minutes). Rifleman Electrical Filter Signal – EFS (Male only): 10th class pass from a recognised board with Math and English as subjects AND Industrial Training Institute certificate in electrician trade from a recognised institute. Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test: Practical knowledge in AC & DC current, star-delta connections, electric fittings, rectification of faults in electric circuit, MCB, fuse, earthing eye, install & maintain wiring, control of lighting systems, handling of generators, transformers will be assessed by the Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test.
