Eligibility – MPSC Recruitment 2026

1. Medical Officer (Vaidyakiya Adhikari) – Adv. No. 009/2026 Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a statutory university or any qualification recognized under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, and must have registered their name under the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965.

2. Additional Government Advocate (Atirikt Sarkari Abhiyokta) – Adv. No. 006/2026 Candidates must possess a degree in Law and must have a minimum of 8 years of experience working as an Advocate in a High Court or a Court subordinate thereto.

3. Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer / Deputy Controller – Adv. No. 006/2026 Candidates must have served as a commissioned officer in the Indian Army at the rank of Major or above (or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force). They must have adequate knowledge of Marathi to speak, read and write. If no officer of requisite rank is available, candidates holding rank of Lieutenant and above may also be considered.

4. Motor Vehicle Inspector (Motor Vahan Abhiyokta) – Adv. No. 007/2026 Candidates must possess a degree in Law and must have a minimum of 7 years of practical experience as an Advocate after acquiring the certificate of practice granted by the State or Indian Bar Council.

5. Deputy Health Officer (Up Karyakari Arogya Adhikari), BMC – Adv. No. 005/2026 Candidates should have a relevant medical qualification and experience in health administration. Nature of work involves responsible position in Health Administration or as Assistant Health Officer.

6. Assistant Medical Officer, TB Hospital Group, BMC – Adv. No. 004/2026 Candidates must possess the required medical qualifications. Nature of work involves duties as Chief Medical Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Medical Officer, or practical and administrative experience in a TB Hospital.


Age & Relaxation – MPSC Recruitment 2026

  • SC and ST women candidates from other states wishing to claim reservation for reserved posts must provide a Non-Creamy Layer certificate from the concerned department.
  • Women candidates claiming reservation benefits must declare that they are domiciled in Maharashtra, and in case of SC/ST category women from outside the caste list, must declare creamy layer status clearly in the application.
  • Candidates from Vimukta Jati (A), Bhatkya Jati (B), Bhatkya Jati (C) and Bhatkya Jati (D) categories whose reserved posts are interchangeable will be considered on merit as per the current policy if suitable candidates from the specific sub-category are not available.
  • Applications submitted through any mode other than the MPSC online portal will not be accepted.
