The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, have issued Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 09/2025 for recruitment to Level-1 posts (Group D) across various zones of Indian Railways. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for approximately 22,000 vacancies in different departments such as Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Stores, Traffic and other units.

Nationality
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognised board, OR
- ITI / NAC from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades
Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

🧠 Selection Process
The selection process consists of four stages:
Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Objective-type test
- Subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness
- Negative marking applicable
Stage 2 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
