Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme July 2026 – Permanent Commission | 44 Vacancies | Apply Online

The Indian Navy has released the official notification for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme – July 2026 Course for induction of Permanent Commissioned Officers in the Executive and Technical Branches. Through this prestigious entry, unmarried male and female candidates will be selected for a four-year B.Tech degree course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, followed by commissioning as officers in the Indian Navy. A total of 44 vacancies have been notified, including up to 07 vacancies for women candidates. The course will commence in July 2026, and selected cadets will receive fully sponsored technical education, training, stipend, allowances and post-commission officer pay as per applicable naval rules.

🧠 Selection Process (Detailed)

The selection process consists of the following stages:


Stage 1 – Shortlisting Based on JEE (Main) 2025

  • Shortlisting is done based on All India CRL rank
  • Cut-off is decided by Naval Headquarters

Stage 2 – SSB Interview

  • Conducted at Bangalore / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam
  • Two-stage selection:
    • Stage-I: Officer Intelligence Rating & Picture Perception
    • Stage-II: Psychological Tests, Group Tasks & Interview
  • AC 3-Tier train fare is reimbursable for first-time SSB candidates

Stage 3 – Medical Examination

  • Conducted as per Indian Navy medical standards
  • No relaxation in medical standards is permitted

Final Merit List

  • Prepared based on SSB marks only
  • Final selection subject to:
    • Medical fitness
    • Police & character verification
    • Availability of vacancies
