The applicant must be a Citizen of India.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA:

🧠 Selection Process

Selection for OCES / DGFS-2026 is a two-stage process.

Stage 1: Screening
Candidates are shortlisted for interview through either of the following modes:

  • BARC Online Screening Examination, or
  • GATE Score (GATE-2024 / 2025 / 2026) in the relevant paper

Candidates may apply through both modes to maximize chances of shortlisting.

Stage 2: Selection Interview

  • Interviews are conducted at BARC Training School, Mumbai (Geology/Geophysics at Hyderabad).
  • Final selection is based only on interview performance, subject to medical fitness.
  • Shortlisted candidates are required to undergo pre-employment medical examination.
