Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification (as on 01.12.2025)
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government
- Graduation must have been completed between 01.04.2021 and 01.12.2025

The selection process consists of two stages:
Stage 1 – Online Written Examination

Stage 2 – Test of Local Language
- Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State applied for
- Candidates who studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempted from this test
Final merit list will be prepared State-wise and Category-wise based on marks obtained in the online examination. In case of tie, older candidate by age will be placed higher.
